The Regulatory Reporting Analyst will be a member of the Middle Office Investment Management Operations team, responsible for all regulatory reporting responsibilities for EMEA and some global legislation. The role involves reviewing and implementing new operational market regulations and managing daily Trade, Transaction, and Holdings reporting to ensure compliance.

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Supervision of daily uploads and failure management of data to repositories and regulators
  2. In-depth root cause analysis of issues against standard regulatory practice
  3. Ensuring completion of Daily, Monthly, and Quarterly reconciliations between AB, regulators, and repositories
  4. Client onboarding management to support regulatory reporting requirements
  5. Completion of client-requested attestations and certifications with respect to ASIC & EMIR
  6. Collation of KPI reporting for presentation to the internal reporting panel and senior management

  1. Daily production upload to our chosen Transaction Repository
  2. Problem management of incidents and errors related to reporting and control process enhancements
  3. Business user testing of changes to reporting solutions and upstream data provider systems
  4. Managing onboarding and closing processes for new clients or funds, both in-house and delegated
  5. Ensuring AB’s EMIR reporting remains compliant with current and future legislation

MIFID Reporting

  1. Performing MIFID reporting using external reporting solutions
  2. Daily production upload to our chosen Transaction Repository (Unavista)
  3. Problem management of incidents and errors related to MIFID reporting and process enhancements
  4. Business user testing of reporting changes and upstream system impacts
  5. Maintaining compliance of AB’s MIFID reporting with current and future legislation
