Job summary

Warwickshire County Council is seeking a driven Capital Project Delivery Manager to lead a team of four Construction Project Managers and oversee delivery of a varied portfolio of large and complex construction projects within our ambitious capital programme.

Based at Shire Hall, Warwick, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, while managing consultants, contractors and project delivery partners.

Qualifications

• A construction-related degree or equivalent qualification.
• Membership of a recognised professional body (RICS/CIOB/RIBA/ICE or equivalent).
• Extensive experience delivering major construction and capital projects (>£1m).
• Experience leading client-side project managers, consultants and contractors.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and financial oversight skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of four Construction Project Managers.
• Deliver a varied portfolio of large, complex construction projects within the capital programme.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to high quality standards.
• Oversee governance, procurement, risk management and construction compliance.
• Manage relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders across the organisation.
