University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead the Capital Team and steer the commercial management of a circa £100m capital programme. You will work with project teams, Finance, Procurement and external advisers to secure value for money and successful project delivery.

As capital lead you will manage budgets, forecasting, contract strategy and procurement processes, including NEC/JCT.

Qualificações

• Senior level commercial leadership for capital programmes.
• Experience in budget setting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the commercial and financial management of major capital projects and programmes.
• Oversee capital budget setting, forecasting, accruals and financial reporting.
• Provide expert advice on construction contracts (NEC/JCT).
• Lead on procurement, tender evaluation and contract management.
• Identify and manage commercial/financial risks to ensure value for money.
• Negotiate with contractors, consultants and internal/external stakeholders.
• Shape commercial policies and governance across the Capital Team.
• Mentor colleagues and promote continuous improvement in the portfolio.
