Job summary

NHS Golden Jubilee University National Hospital is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a varied portfolio of capital projects across the estate. You will work with the Head of Capital Projects to plan, procure, construct and implement projects from refurbishments to major new builds, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a construction-related discipline.
• Significant experience managing construction or capital projects.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, procurement routes and construction contracts.
• Experience of financial management, budget control and programme delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of capital construction and refurbishment projects.
• Managing project programmes, budgets and performance reporting.
• Working with contractors, consultants and professional advisors throughout project lifecycles.
• Assisting with the development of business cases and capital investment plans.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, health and safety standards and NHS guidance.
• Engaging with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to develop effective project solutions.
• Supporting the delivery of projects associated with the Elective Care Hospital Expansion Programme.
• Promoting sustainable and innovative design solutions within capital developments
