Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with postgraduate finance experience.
• Significant post-qualification experience in complex financial management.
• Experience in capital accounting, commercial finance and business case development.
• Knowledge of NHS financial regime and procurement guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial governance and value-for-money assessments across commercial lifecycle.
• Advise executives on affordability, risk, and whole-life cost for major procurements.
• Develop and appraise strategic business cases, investment appraisals and benefits realisation.
• Oversee financial models covering whole-life costs, PV, risk, and scenarios.
• Challenge suppliers and lead due diligence for complex NHS arrangements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including procurement, clinical services and legal.
