Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced CAD Engineer to join our drawing production team. You will produce, check and approve engineering drawings for T&D infrastructure projects, using AutoCAD, Civil3D and MicroStation, and ensure compliance with client standards.

In addition to producing drawings, you will manage drawing registers, support document control, mentor junior technicians and collaborate with design engineers to translate engineering intent into accurate deliverables.

Qualifications

• Essential minimum 8 years of CAD experience in an engineering environment.
• Proven ability to lead, manage and deliver packages with minimal supervision.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil3D and MicroStation desirable.
• Experience with T&D drawing production and reading engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Produce, check and approve engineering drawings to client and UIPTD standards.
• Manage drawing registers and document control per procedures.
• Collaborate with design engineers and attend design team meetings.
• Provide drawing QA checks and mentor junior engineers.
