Job summary

United Infrastructure Group is seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join the UIPTD T&D engineering team. The successful candidate will produce and manage engineering drawings for 33–400kV OHL and UGC schemes, working closely with design engineers to deliver client‑standard outputs across the project lifecycle.

Key requirements include five years of CAD experience in an engineering environment, advanced AutoCAD skills (Civil3D and MicroStation desirable), and accurate document control.

Qualifications

• Five years CAD experience in an engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering calculations and survey data.
• Strong attention to detail and quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering drawings to client and UIPTD standards for OHL and cable routes.
• Manage drawing registers and document control throughout the project lifecycle.
