Job summary

LSTC Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a capable Engineering Draughtsman/Team Leader to manage a small CAD team and deliver a wide range of engineering drawings to industry standards.

You will oversee the production of 2D/3D CAD drawings using Microstation and SolidEdge, mentor junior staff, and work with engineers to resolve design issues while ensuring QA/QC and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ engineering/civils experience.
• Strong proficiency in 2D/3D CAD using Microstation, SolidEdge and NX.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and Health & Safety/CDM requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Engineering Draughtspersons and ensure delivery of CAD drawings to client and industry standards.
• Produce and manage a wide range of CAD drawings across projects (2D/3D, schemes, layouts, foundations).
• Liaise with engineers to resolve design issues and provide timescales and cost estimates.
• Oversee QA/QC checks and adherence to CDM and company procedures.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and coordinate with project managers.
