United Living Group's United Infrastructure Transmission and Distribution team is seeking an experienced CAD designer ready to move into a leadership role. You will guide CAD deliverables for 3D and 2D drawings on UK transmission projects and shape the CAD strategy across the team.

Qualifications

• ISCED level 5 – Minimum NVQ level 4, HNC in CAD applicable subject
• Minimum 10 years in a CAD role delivering construction engineering projects
• Experience producing CAD outputs with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• GCSE pass (C or higher) in Mathematics and English
• Fluent spoken and written English language

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide technical input into production of 3D and 2D drawings
• Development and training of engineering resources in CAD design deliverables
• Manage and develop common working methods for CAD design production to improve efficiency
• Ensure CAD quality control and checking processes are communicated and met
• Keep up to date with technical quality management procedures and specifications
