Job summary

VolkerStevin UK, part of VolkerWessels UK Group, is seeking a proactive CAD Technician to join our Engineering Department. You will transform concepts into precise drawings and 3D models to support civil engineering works.

You will work with engineers and site teams, ensuring outputs are accurate, compliant and delivered to high standards. A strong CAD background and EngTech status are advantageous, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Experience producing CAD drawings and models within civil engineering, construction or infrastructure.
Demonstrable experience independently producing timber structure and reinforced concrete detailing.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD LT and 3D modelling.
Basic understanding of structural stability and engineering design principles.

Responsibilities

Produce accurate, detailed technical drawings and models from information supplied by design engineers and operations teams.
Prepare As-Built drawings using site records and marked-up drawings.
Utilise CAD software to create high-quality deliverables.
Ensure drawings comply with VolkerStevin CAD standards and quality requirements.
Support engineers and project teams with drafting expertise.
Conduct informal drawing reviews for quality and consistency.
