Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a CAD Manager to lead a team delivering airfield, maritime and pavement design projects for UK and overseas clients. You will supervise CAD Technicians, ensure high-quality 2D/3D models, and maintain CAD standards across the project lifecycle.

You will work with our civil services team, mentor staff, and coordinate with engineering to meet deadlines while embracing BIM practices and PAS 1192/ISO 19650 standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD CAD software.
• Proficient in producing high-quality Engineering Drawings.
• Good experience with Civil 3D modelling software.
• Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience in Airport, Highway/Pavement or Maritime sectors; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD Technicians to produce quality drawings and 2D/3D models.
• Mentor team members and share cad standards across projects.
• Ensure output meets CAD/BIM standards and project requirements.
• Quality Assurance of Civils 3D outputs and model delivery.
• Work with BIM standards such as PAS 1192 and ISO 19650.
