Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a CAD Manager to join the Civil Services team, delivering airfield, maritime and pavement design and maintenance for clients in the UK and overseas. You will lead CAD Technicians, produce high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models, and ensure design output meets project and client requirements.

You will develop templates, mentor staff, and coordinate design work from feasibility through construction, champion BIM standards and health & safety compliance, and

Qualifications

• Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD CAD software.
• Proficient in producing high-quality engineering drawings.
• Good experience with Civil 3D modelling software.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Experience in Airport, Highway/Pavement or Maritime sectors; detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead CAD Technicians in producing 2D drawings and 3D models and ensure high quality outputs.
• Mentor team members and develop CAD templates and drawing templates to meet client needs.
• Ensure delivery aligns with CAD/BIM Standards, H&S, and project risk management.
• Quality checks of final published drawings to defined Cad Standards.
