Job summary

Spotify seeks a Senior C++/iOS Engineer to join the Baldur squad within User Platform (UP). You will help shape technology powering secure access for hundreds of millions of users across Spotify clients and third-party integrations.

You’ll collaborate with engineers across Spotify to build secure, reliable authentication experiences and support mobile and desktop experiences, platform teams, and partners leveraging our authorization platform.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C++ and native iOS development with Swift.
• Experience with security-sensitive systems such as authorization and token management.
• Systems-thinking mindset across client and backend to solve complex engineering challenges.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an autonomous squad for delegated authorization and session management platforms.
• Design, build, and evolve infrastructure powering Spotify apps and partner integrations using C++ and Swift.
• Develop secure, reliable delegated authorization flows including token issuance, refresh, revocation, and session lifecycle across platforms.
• Partner with client and backend engineers to integrate with core authorization services, token issuance, client registration, and revocation.
• Improve on-device credential and access token storage for security, reliability, and performance.
• Contribute to evolution of Spotify’s authorization frameworks and platform-specific implementations.
• Drive technical improvements, share knowledge, and shape long-term direction of authorization and session management.
