Spotify's Platform & Partner Experience (PPX) group seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to advance how partner and platform experiences scale across devices and integrations. You will lead the technical strategy, architecture, and development that power billions of users and partners.
You will collaborate with platform, infrastructure, product and design teams to unify fragmented systems, reduce duplication, and influence technical direction across organizational boundaries.
We design Spotify's consumer experience — end to end, moment to moment, across every screen, platform, and partner integration. Our mission is to make listening feel effortless, personal, and joyful for billions of users around the world. That means turning complexity into clarity across hundreds of touchpoints — from our mobile and desktop apps to the smart speakers, TVs, cars, and integrations where Spotify shows up every day. If it touches a consumer, we shape it. We bring deep insight into human behavior, design, and technology to craft experiences that feel intuitive, expressive, and unmistakably Spotify. Platform & Partner Experience (PPX) sits within the Experience Mission, shaping how Spotify shows up across devices, platforms, and partner ecosystems. We build the foundations that power seamless integrations — from smart speakers to cars to AI agents — while ensuring every interaction feels personal, reliable, and unmistakably Spotify. As a Senior Staff Engineer, you'll advance how our systems power partner experiences at scale, tackling complex challenges that span teams, systems and organizational boundaries. You will work closely with platform, infrastructure, and product teams across the company to create shared foundations, streamline our architecture and unlock new experiences for our users and partners.
We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best. For this role, you can be based anywhere in EMEA where Spotify has a work location (excluding France due to on-call restrictions). The team collaborates within Central European and GMT time zones.
