Job summary

Siemens Energy Limited, within the Grid Technologies division, seeks a Senior Buyer to lead procurement for large EPC high‑voltage substation projects. You will engage with suppliers, project teams, and site personnel, managing RFQs, negotiations, and supplier performance to meet milestones, budgets, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of procurement experience, especially in large-scale EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Strong ability to define and execute sourcing strategies.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts.

Responsibilities

• Act as the procurement partner for site infrastructure on large EPC high voltage substation projects.
• Ensure procurement processes are effectively implemented during bid and execution phases.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, negotiating pricing and commercial terms.
• Define sourcing and supplier strategies aligned with project goals.
• Identify and manage supplier risks to mitigate non-conformance costs.
• Drive improvement initiatives across the procurement function.
• Travel to suppliers and project sites (10-15%).
