Job summary

Siemens Energy in Newcastle is seeking a Bid Project Manager to lead bids for high-voltage substation projects across the UK. You will guide the tender lifecycle, coordinate with proposals and sales teams, and ensure competitive, compliant submissions.

You will engage customers in pre-tender activities, review contracts, and drive win strategies while leveraging cross-functional relationships to deliver quality orders and support the energy transition.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the complete bidding process for multi-million-pound high-voltage substation or complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership with ability to make independent decisions and recommendations to management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage bids through the tender lifecycle, ensuring governance and approvals.
• Collaborate with Proposals Manager and Sales to formulate winning bid strategies.
• Review invitations to tender and contracts to identify project drivers, scope, and risks.
• Lead the Capture Team to deliver all bid deliverables on time and within the tender program.
• Engage with customers during pre-tender meetings to clarify project scope and requirements.
