Anglian Water Group Ltd. is recruiting a Senior Buyer (Ecosystem Manager) to support the Strategic Pipeline Alliance.

The role covers developing the Procurement Schedule, leading a cross-disciplinary team, and ensuring value for money across the supply ecosystem. You will lead sourcing events, appoint suppliers, and negotiate commercial terms while maintaining auditable processes and supplier relationships to meet project deadlines.

Formación

• Experience of procurement ideally within the Water, Infrastructure or Construction Industry.
• Experience integrating suppliers such that the ecosystem delivers out-performance and facilitates innovation.
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet strict deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of your portfolio of work to deliver sourcing events on time and maximize value.
• Appoint suppliers following an agreed sourcing methodology based on spend/value or requirement.
• Lead on commercial negotiations.
• Ensure systems are used and updated for auditable processes and reporting.
• Provide advice and support to the business to understand and deliver their requirements.
• Notify the relevant manager of spend trends requiring investigation.
• Ensure sustainable procurement risks are understood and managed for all projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers on a “spot buy” basis where appropriate.
• Develop wider knowledge of products and wider supply chain.
