Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Procurement Manager in Peterborough (Hybrid) to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across infrastructure projects, including WRMP24 schemes, and to deliver value-driven contracts with suppliers.

You will shape category plans, conduct complex negotiations, manage a portfolio, and develop a high-performing team, coordinating with the Commercial Procurement Leadership Team and internal stakeholders to ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree level education and professional procurement qualification (CIPS).
• Proven experience in leadership or a clear path to people management.
• Strong commercial acumen with bid assessment and stakeholder influence.
• Good knowledge of public or utilities procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives and category plans for projects.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of supplier contracts to maximise value.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations with external partners.
