Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and revenue growth in the UPS and critical power market in Gosport.

You will identify opportunities, manage relationships with key decision-makers and deliver profitable sales with minimal supervision. The role requires a proven track record in high-volume UPS sales, a strong industry network and full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Business Development, Technical Sales or Account Management within the UPS or critical power industry.
• Demonstrable track record of generating high-volume UPS sales and consistently winning new business.
• Strong existing network of industry contacts and the ability to leverage relationships to generate immediate commercial opportunities.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through to negotiation and closing.
• Detailed knowledge of UPS systems, battery solutions and associated critical power equipment.
• Full UK driving licence and based within a commutable distance of Gosport.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure high-volume sales opportunities for UPS systems and related equipment.
• Proactively generate new business through industry contacts, networking, referrals and targeted activity.
• Manage relationships with end users, contractors, consultants and facilities providers.
• Maximise revenue from existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
• Build a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into profitable business.
• Attend client meetings, reviews and industry events to strengthen relationships.
