Job summary

A leading company in precision medicine is seeking a (Senior) Business Development Manager to drive sales and manage marketing efforts in the UK. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in molecular pathology business development. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, enhancing brand awareness, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or related markets.
  • Good knowledge of the UK molecular pathology market; international experience is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.

(Senior) Business Development Manager - UK, Norwich

(NASDAQ: BNR) was founded in 2014 and specializes in providing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) products and services to support the entire process of the precision medicine development cycle. Headquartered in Guangzhou, China, it has laboratories and offices across Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and California, USA, employing over 1,000 people worldwide. Its business spans over 30 provinces in China, the USA, and Europe.

The ideal candidate will lead business development activities and drive sales, playing a key role in generating new business and managing marketing and customer service activities.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK market, targeting potential and existing customers.
  • Develop and execute business and regulatory plans for the UK, achieving operational goals.
  • Manage relationships with local business partners and respond to marketing leads.
  • Report market information to headquarters in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with other departments to establish operational processes in the UK.
  • Enhance brand awareness of the company and its solutions in the UK.
  • Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology, IVD, or related markets.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of the UK molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic and creative thinking with attention to detail and operational excellence.
  • Energetic and motivated to find new business opportunities quickly.
  • Familiar with selling imported products in Europe.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
