A modern and global organisation working within the tech industry is looking for a driven Senior Business Development Executive to join their team, offering up to 31k with excellent bonus opportunities.
This is a full-time, permanent role with an excellent hybrid working pattern, based in Birmingham City Centre.
The candidate needs to be proactive and analytical, as this role involves representing the front end of the mergers and acquisitions process. The individual should be a self-starter, capable of working independently to achieve objectives and establishing client relationships.
The role requires travel to their offices in the Netherlands for training, as well as visiting businesses across the UK. Responsibilities include growing the UK database by identifying companies for acquisition, prospecting potential clients through outbound calls, emails, and social media, leveraging marketing and CRM data to build relationships, attending trade shows and industry events, conducting cold calls and face-to-face meetings with senior individuals, initiating first-line interactions with companies, and coordinating the transition from leads to actionable opportunities.
This is a client-facing role, and experience within the financial services sector and/or in the mergers and acquisitions process is essential.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or Accounting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related IT programs is an asset.
