Hastings Group in the UK is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape and deliver change across CIO. You will work with business and technology teams to understand problems, analyse options, and define clear requirements to ensure customer and colleague outcomes.

This role suits experienced BAs who can lead analysis across large or complex change, provide leadership and coaching, manage senior stakeholder relationships and support high-quality delivery through strong documentation and clear

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex change initiatives and owning analysis.
• Proficient in documenting requirements, user stories and process maps.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Experience in Agile environments (SAFe) with governance and risk focus.
• Mentor or coach junior BAs.
• Familiarity with Jira and Octane, plus data/SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed business analysis across large-scale projects or multiple medium-sized initiatives, taking ownership of analysis from initiation through to business readiness and delivery.
• Evaluate end-to-end business processes and systems, defining requirements, process maps, user stories and artefacts.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear specifications with Solution Architects and delivery teams.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather requirements and align outcomes.
• Manage analysis deliverables, scope, dependencies and risks for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Review and refine defects, backlog items and user stories for delivery teams.
• Provide line management, coaching and mentoring to Business Analysts and Junior BAs.
