Job summary

Money & Pensions Service is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Product Team in Bedford. Qualifications

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and assurance across the end-to-end lifecycle.
• Ensure products meet business, user and policy requirements.
• Synthesize business problems and opportunities clearly.
• Identify improvement areas, assess feasibility and impact.
• Support prioritisation decisions with analysis insights.
• Maintain user stories in BDD / Gherkin syntax for QA.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis and assurance across the end to end business planning and software development lifecycle.
• Ensure new products and services meet business, user and industry requirements and are aligned to the organisation’s strategic commitments and organisational goals.
• Analyst, synthesize and clearly communicate business problems and opportunities.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement, assess feasibility and impact, and define success measures.
• Support decision-making related to prioritisation and minimum viable product by sharing your analysis-led insights.
• Understand business and policy constraints and their impact of requirements and feasibility.
• Create, refine, prioritise and maintain user stories written in BDD / Gherkin syntax to ensure requirements are delivered and can be quality assured end.
