Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Limited in London is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex digital transformation programmes in a highly secure environment. You will work closely with stakeholders, Product Owners and delivery teams to understand challenges, define requirements and deliver the right solutions.

You’ll need a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to work directly with customers

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst in complex, secure or highly regulated digital environments.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Agile methods (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) and writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Experience in business process modelling and mapping (As-Is/To-Be).

Responsibilities

• Identify business problems, objectives and outcomes with stakeholders.
• Translate user needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Prioritise work against MVP, sprint goals and scope with delivery teams.
• Support Product Owner with backlog refinement and prioritisation.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Map current and future processes (As-Is/To-Be).
• Support testing to ensure delivered functionality meets requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery lifecycles.
