Job summary

Hydro International, part of CRH, is seeking a Senior ERP Business Analyst to lead the OneHydro Systems transformation using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will translate complex business needs into actionable stories and help drive governance, testing and adoption across global stakeholders.

You'll work as the lead BA on a programme, shaping how the business operates with end-to-end ERP change, balancing process improvement with pragmatic delivery in a hybrid UK environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering business analysis on at least one full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation.
• ERP transformation experience across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment and BAU transition.
• Expertise in requirements management, process mapping, traceability and governance.
• Experience producing high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, test artefacts and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Capture, analyse and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain requirements traceability, process catalogues and future-state documentation.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules.
• Support fit-to-standard workshops and drive process harmonisation across the business.
• Challenge unnecessary complexity and promote best-practice use of Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Define and support end-to-end testing, UAT and business acceptance processes.
• Drive decision traceability and ensure governance standards are maintained.
• Support change readiness, deployment activities and transition into BAU operations.

At Hydro International, we're delivering the ambitious OneHydro Systems Project - a business-wide transformation programme centred on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, enhanced by Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and integrations with critical business applications.

What You'll Be Doing

As the lead business analysis resource on the programme, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders, business leaders, SMEs, project teams, and implementation partners to deliver a successful ERP transformation.

• Capturing, analysing and managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Creating and maintaining requirements traceability, process catalogues and future-state documentation
• Translating business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules
• Supporting fit-to-standard workshops and helping drive process harmonisation across the business
• Challenging unnecessary complexity and promoting best-practice use of Dynamics 365 capabilities
• Defining and supporting end-to-end testing, UAT and business acceptance processes
• Driving decision traceability and ensuring governance standards are maintained
• Supporting change readiness, deployment activities and the transition into business-as-usual operations

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering business analysis on at least one full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation
• Demonstrable ERP transformation experience across discovery, design, build, testing, deployment and BAU transition
• Expertise in requirements management, process mapping, traceability and governance
• Experience producing high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, test artefacts and operating procedures
• Knowledge across ERP functional areas such as Finance, Procurement, Projects, Inventory, Warehousing, Service or Operations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively from executive leadership through to operational SMEs
• Experience working alongside implementation partners, Solution Architects and Functional Consultants

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Sales, Customer Service or Field Service
• Salesforce or other CRM platform implementation experience
• Experience in project-based, engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing or service-led organisations
• BCS, IIBA or equivalent Business Analysis qualifications
• Experience with BPMN, Visio or other process modelling tools
