Job summary

Baily Garner LLP is hiring a Building Surveyor in Eltham with project team leadership responsibilities. The role involves site visits, feasibility reporting, measured surveys, design proposal development, and contract administration across diverse non-residential and refurbishment projects.

Qualifications

RICS accredited degree required or on route to APC.
Experience with contract administration on diverse building types.
Ability to manage client relationships and lead project teams.

Responsibilities

Visit site and carry out inspections reports.
Prepare and present initial appraisal and feasibility reports.
Carry out measured surveys of existing buildings or sites.
Prepare and present outline design proposals and budget estimates.
Prepare full working drawings for construction.
Submit statutory approvals including Planning and Building Control.
Prepare specifications and schedules of work; invite tenders and analyse results.
Prepare contract documents and perform contract administration duties.
Act as Project Team Leader with client liaison and presentation of schemes.
