Baily Garner LLP in Eltham, London, is seeking a proactive Building Surveyor to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work on contract administration or Employer’s Agent roles across diverse projects, conducting site visits, feasibility studies, and surveys to guide client decisions.

The ideal candidate has at least one year post-qualification experience, aims for MRICS, and can collaborate in interdisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality surveying and project management services

Formación

• 1+ year post-qualification experience (or breadth of knowledge matching role).
• MRICS status, or working towards MRICS.
• Experience working within interdisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent core building surveying and project management skills.
• Strong client interface skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Project Team Leaders and clients to present schemes and manage timelines.
• Lead Contract Administration or Employer’s Agent roles across projects.
• Conduct site visits and produce inspection reports.
• Deliver initial appraisals and feasibility studies for client decisions.
• Carry out measured surveys and develop outline designs and cost estimates.
• Prepare schemes, working drawings, and facilitate construction work.
• Manage planning, listed building consent, and building control approvals.
• Draft specifications and assist with bills of quantities and tender analysis.
