Job summary

Faithorn Farrell Timms, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor in Orpington. You will manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and drive growth in the Building Surveying team, delivering high-quality reports and professional services.

The role requires MRICS status, strong contract administration, and site inspection experience, with a focus on health and safety compliance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• MRICS membership is preferred and demonstrates professional accreditation.
• Experience with contract administration and JCT forms is essential.
• Site inspection experience on active construction sites is required.
• Strong report writing and client-facing skills are a must.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM Regulations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver high-quality building surveying services for diverse client projects.
• Build and develop client relationships to create repeat business and new commissions.
• Lead tender submissions and contribute to business development with Partners.
• Manage projects including programme, fees and profitability, with regular updates to Partners and clients.
• Mentor junior surveyors and support professional development.
