Job summary

Faithorn Farrell Timms is seeking a Fire Surveyor to undertake fire safety inspections, surveys and risk assessments across residential, commercial, educational, healthcare and public sector buildings. You will identify fire safety risks, provide practical recommendations, and prepare detailed reports, specifications and schedules of works for remediation programmes.

Working with building surveyors, project managers and other consultants, you will ensure compliance with Fire Safety Order 2005,

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Building Surveying, Fire Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
MRICS or working towards Chartered status is desirable.
Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and passive protection.

Responsibilities

Undertake fire safety surveys and inspections across various buildings.
Identify risks and provide practical remedial recommendations.
Prepare detailed technical reports and schedules of works.
Advise clients on compliance with fire safety legislation and Building Regulations.
Support projects and maintain strong client relationships.
