Job summary

Exchange Street Executive Search seeks an experienced Building Surveyor to oversee claims in Northampton and the Midlands region. The role focuses on properties affected by perils, with subsidence experience a plus.

You will conduct site visits, validate claims, and manage the end-to-end process from assessment to final reporting. Qualifications include a Building Surveying degree and MRICS/MCIOB when possible, with strong CAD knowledge and familiarity with CDM 2015, Party Wall Act, and planning

Qualifications

Degree in Building Surveying (BSc Hons) required or equivalent.
MRICS/MCIOB desirable as a minimum.
Experience in loss adjusting or building claim handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

Claim evaluation through site visits to validate policy cover and damage scope.
Interface with policyholders to gather information and explain liability and scope decisions.
Validate variations and prepare repair schedules using company tools and guidelines.
Oversee the entire claim process from assessment to final report submission.
Ensure compliance with company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
Appoint and coordinate contractors for restoration and rebuild work.
