Job summary

Qualifications

• Loss adjusting/technical experience is desirable.
• Subsidence project management experience is desirable.
• Degree in Building Surveying (BSc Hons).
• MRICS qualification or AssocRICS preferred.
• Conversant with CAD, CDM Regs 2015, Party Wall Act 1996, Building Regulations and Planning Legislation.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review information from clients and claim handlers and conduct site visits to validate claims for policy cover and damage.
• Communicate with policyholders to gather information and inform them of policy liability and scope decisions.
• Use company tools to create repair schedules and validate variations against policy terms.
• Oversee the entire claim process from damage assessment to final report submission.
• Ensure processes comply with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
• Appoint relevant contractors and provide clear instructions at the outset of the claim.
