Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a Building Services Manager to act as the Estates team's technical lead for mechanical and electrical building services, supporting the ongoing maintenance, renewal and compliant operation of the organisation's property portfolio across multiple sites.

You will take ownership of building services compliance, shape annual maintenance and improvement programmes, and oversee consultants delivering works.

Qualifications

• Broad M&E/building services knowledge and experience across multi-site estates.
• Experience managing maintenance contracts and projects.
• Knowledge of statutory compliance and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead for M&E and building services across the portfolio.
• Manage statutory compliance alongside planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Undertake condition surveys and advise on priority works and budgets.
• Develop annual maintenance programmes for maintenance, servicing, replacement and improvements.
• Manage M&E projects from scope to delivery and closeout.
• Prepare specifications, drawings and cost estimates; oversee external consultants.
