Job summary
AECOM is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer / Senior Electrical Engineer to join our building services team in a role with potential international travel and overseas project opportunities. You will have a strong background in building services electrical engineering and proficient use of Revit, DIALux, and ElectricalOM/Amtech.
The role offers hybrid working arrangements and opportunities to work on technically challenging projects across global sites, with clear pathways for seniority
Qualifications
- Experience working as a Building Services Electrical Engineer.
- Strong understanding of building services electrical engineering principles and design.
- Proficient in Revit.
- Proficient in DIALux.
- Proficient in ElectricalOM / Amtech cable sizing software.
- SC or DV security clearance is highly desirable; willing to undergo clearance process.
Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical engineering design solutions across building services projects.
- Develop electrical designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Produce and review electrical drawings and models using Revit.
- Undertake lighting design and calculations using DIALux.
- Carry out cable sizing and electrical calculations using ElectricalOM / Amtech.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Provide technical input throughout the design and project lifecycle.
- Support delivery of high-quality, compliant engineering solutions.
- Possibly take responsibility for elements of project delivery and mentoring.
