Placements24 seeks a Project Engineer to oversee chemical plant construction in Randburg, Gauteng. You will manage planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with the highest safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in project engineering or management, a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree, and strong EPC knowledge with on-site leadership. On-site work in Randburg is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in project engineering/management for chemical plant projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex capital projects on time and within budget.
• Strong EPC knowledge and on-site leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate all aspects of chemical plant construction projects (scope, schedule, budget, resources).
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines and critical path.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services per standards.
• Supervise site construction ensuring design/spec and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections and progress reviews.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee commissioning and start-up activities.
