Job summary

Fireblocks seeks an accomplished Backend/Full‑Stack Engineer to design and build scalable backend services for high‑volume on‑chain transactions. You will own API components from architecture to production, and lead integrations with DeFi protocols and blockchain nodes across multiple ecosystems.

You will evaluate new blockchain tech, optimize systems for latency and security, and collaborate with product, protocol research and platform teams to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend or full‑stack engineering experience.
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent degree/experience.
• Blockchain and Web3 experience with multiple ecosystems (EVM and non‑EVM).

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, scalable backend services for high‑volume on‑chain transactions.
• Own end‑to‑end development of backend components and APIs.
• Lead integrations with DeFi protocols, on‑chain data sources, and blockchain nodes.
• Research and evaluate emerging blockchain technologies to stay cutting edge.
• Optimize production systems for performance, reliability and security.
• Collaborate with product, protocol research and platform engineering teams.
