Job summary

HCL Technologies B.V. Netherland is seeking a Senior Blockchain Platform Engineer to design and ship Java/Kotlin microservices and APIs that meet high availability, latency and security standards.

You will integrate with custody providers, wallet infrastructure and SaaS blockchain platforms, while collaborating in a cross-functional agile squad with architects, DevOps, security, and product owners; mentoring engineers and driving production readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, solution design or architecture with production ownership.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols.
• Background in financial services, payments or fintech — or a demonstrable grasp of how regulated money movement works.
• Strong stakeholder management across business and technology.
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship enterprise-grade Java/Kotlin microservices and APIs meeting bank-grade availability, latency and security standards.
• Integrate with custody providers, wallet infrastructure, node providers and SaaS blockchain platforms; connect with core banking, payments and ledger systems.
• Apply secure coding practices, participate in architecture and threat reviews, and support audit, compliance and production readiness.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional agile squad with architects, DevOps, security, product owners and blockchain operations; mentor engineers and share knowledge.
