Senior Bioprocess Scientist - Biology and Engineering

Newton Colmore is working with a biotechnology innovator in South Cambridgeshire and is searching for a scientist to join their bioprocess development team.

As a senior scientist in this company, you will be working closely with the VP of Science and tackling complex bioprocess development challenges to enable the manufacture of novel molecules across various modalities and therapeutic areas. Initially, you will familiarize yourself with the company's technology platform, which involves suspension mammalian cell culturing, transfection, filtration, diafiltration, and chromatography. Once integrated into the team, you will take on more responsibilities and lead process development initiatives.

You will apply your experience to advance the science of their technology, from initial ideation to delivery and manufacturing. You will oversee the full development process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, all aiming to innovate and improve processes.
