Job Description:

Newton Colmore is working with a biotechnology innovator in South Cambridgeshire and is searching for a Senior Bioprocess Scientist to join their bioprocess development team.

As a senior scientist, you will work closely with the VP of Science on complex bioprocess development challenges to enable the manufacture of novel molecules across various modalities and therapeutic areas. Your initial focus will be familiarising yourself with the company's technology platform, which involves suspension mammalian cell culturing, transfection, filtration, diafiltration, and chromatography. Subsequently, you will take on more responsibilities and lead process development initiatives.

You will leverage your experience to advance the science behind their technology, from initial ideation to delivery and manufacturing. You will oversee the full development process and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive innovation and implement new ideas.
