Senior Bioprocess Scientist - Biology and Engineering

Newton Colmore is working with a biotechnology innovator in South Cambridgeshire and is searching for a scientist to join their bioprocess development team.

As a senior scientist in this company, you will work closely with the VP of Science on complex bioprocess development challenges to enable the manufacture of novel molecules across various modalities and therapeutic areas.

Your initial focus will be familiarising yourself with the company's technology platform, which includes suspension mammalian cell culturing, transfection, filtration, diafiltration, and chromatography. Subsequently, you will fully integrate into the team to take on greater responsibilities and lead process development initiatives.

You will leverage your experience to advance the science behind their technology, from initial ideation to delivery and manufacturing. You will oversee the full development process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to foster innovation and implement new ideas.
