Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking a Senior BIM Technician to lead multidisciplinary BIM development across MEP, civil, structural and architectural disciplines. You will coordinate complex models, mentor junior staff and drive quality using advanced Autodesk tools and BEP-based workflows.

You will work on secure client sites, uphold ISO 19650 standards and promote continuous improvement in BIM delivery. Flexible/hybrid working may apply depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to HNC level or above.
• Certification in use of Autodesk suite (Revit, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 and CDE usage.
• Experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks, ReCap and point-cloud data.
• Proven BIM coordination across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil and structural disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D BIM models and 2D/3D layouts using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary models and perform clash detection with Navisworks.
• Mentor trainees and junior technicians to raise BIM standards.
• Ensure models meet BEP/Scope of service and company BIM standards.
• Support model audits and prepare deliverables for internal/external teams.
