Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking a Senior BIM Technician – Building Services to lead the production of fully coordinated 3D models and drawings. You will mentor junior team members and ensure project outputs meet both internal and client standards, with a focus on quality and BIM best practices.

You will work within a collaborative team, supporting Engineers and Technicians across multiple UK projects, including regulated sectors, and operate in a hybrid working environment with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Proficient in Building Services systems and coordination with spatial requirements.
• High level of proficiency in using Revit MEP within a project environment.
• Ability to produce 2D & 3D deliverables from concept through to fully coordinated detailed design.
• Knowledge of BIM Level 2, current BIM legislation and implementation on projects.
• Knowledge of UK technical standards/publications and legislation requirements.
• Experience in construction coordination and delivering within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of fully coordinated Building Services 3D models, drawings and documentation.
• Ensure quality of CAD drawings to internal/customer standards.
• Support model setup and project environments with proper file structures and naming conventions.
• Mentor BIM Technicians and Trainees to promote development.
• Provide technical mentoring and share knowledge with team.
• Assist with clash detection and resolution and promote best practice modelling.
• Contribute to BIM standards and content libraries.
• Review subcontractor drawings for design intent and technical compliance.
• Produce model outputs such as schedules and data sheets.
