Job summary

BakerHicks in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Technician to lead the production of high-quality civil and structural drawings. You will own drawing quality, oversee CAD work, and help drive BIM adoption across projects with UK standards in focus.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (ICE accredited).
• EngTech MICE / TIStructE or working towards it.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit & AutoCAD (Microstation and CADS RC a bonus).
• Strong knowledge of UK technical standards, CDM regulations, and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality and completeness of all drawn information for your projects.
• Support a team of CAD technicians and mentor technicians and apprentices in the future.
• Drive BIM adoption and CAD process improvements.
• Deliver accurate, detailed drawings and ensure compliance with UK standards.
