Job summary

Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior BIM Lead to manage a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians, delivering MEP coordination on a major data centre project in Blyth, UK.

You'll drive BIM delivery across the project, ensuring adherence to the BIM Execution Plan, resolve multidisciplinary clashes, and guide junior staff while advancing digital workflows and innovative processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience on large-scale projects.
• Strong Revit experience with an MEP bias.
• Experience managing or mentoring BIM teams.
• Excellent understanding of multidisciplinary coordination.
• Navisworks experience is highly desirable.
• AutoCAD knowledge would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of BIM Coordinators and Technicians.
• Oversee delivery in accordance with the BIM Execution Plan.
• Coordinate complex MEP installations with site and engineering teams.
• Manage and resolve multidisciplinary clashes and coordination issues.
• Produce and oversee drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Liaise with subcontractors, package managers, engineers and the client.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members.
• Contribute to development of new digital workflows and processes.
