Job summary

Senior BIM / Digital Engineering Manager to lead digital delivery on a major Data Centre project in West London for People Group. You will drive BIM standards, BEPs, information governance and handover processes across the full project lifecycle.

The role demands senior leadership, collaboration with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and a deep knowledge of ISO 19650, BS 1192, IFC and Autodesk platforms to ensure compliant, high-quality information handovers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a BIM / Digital Engineering management role within a Main Contractor environment. Senior BIM Manager.
• Experience delivering large-scale construction projects, ideally within the Data Centre sector.
• In-depth knowledge of Autodesk desktop and cloud platforms, content management systems, verification tools, visualisation software and databases.
• Advanced understanding of ISO 19650, BS 1192, Common Data Environments (CDE), IFC, COBie and classification systems.
• Experience developing BIM Execution Plans, information requirements and digital handover strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams and drive digital engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and digital handover strategies specific to the Data Centre project.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and relevant BIM and information management standards.
• Establish and maintain project information requirements, including OIR, AIR, PIR and EIR.
• Oversee Common Data Environment (CDE) processes, information sharing and data security protocols.
• Implement digital governance, quality assurance procedures and information management standards across the project team.
• Monitor digital deliverables and ensure the successful completion of project information handovers.
• Evaluate digital engineering resources against project requirements and support the development of the wider BIM team.
• Work closely with project teams, clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure effective collaboration and information exchange.
• Research and implement new digital engineering technologies, industry developments and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project stakeholders, promoting best practice in BIM coordination and digital information management.
