Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a Digital Construction Manager for projects in the Midlands region. The role takes ownership of digital delivery, BIM implementation and information management across multiple sites and teams.

You will work with design, commercial and site teams to coordinate digital delivery, drive software adoption and ensure compliance with BIM standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading BIM/Digital construction on medium to large projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and information management is essential.
• Experience managing CDEs and digital workflows across sites and design teams.

An established UK main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Digital Construction Manager to support a diverse portfolio of construction projects across the Midlands region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Digital Construction or BIM professional to take ownership of digital delivery processes, drive BIM implementation and improve information management across multiple projects.

Working closely with design, commercial and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring digital construction strategies are successfully implemented throughout the project lifecycle.

The Role

• Lead the implementation of BIM and digital construction strategies across regional projects.
• Manage project information in accordance with ISO 19650 and client requirements.
• Oversee Common Data Environments (CDEs), information workflows and digital compliance.
• Work closely with design, commercial and site teams to coordinate digital delivery.
• Support the adoption of digital construction software, systems and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on BIM processes and information management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and project stakeholders to ensure digital requirements are achieved.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through digital innovation.

The Candidate

• Previous experience as a Digital Construction Manager, BIM Manager, Digital Delivery Manager or ideally within a main contractor
• Strong knowledge of BIM methodol.ogies, ISO 19650 and information management.
• Experience managing Common Data Environments and digital workflows.
• Background working on medium to large construction projects, ideally within a main contractor
• Confident working with multidisciplinary design and construction teams
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant construction, BIM or digital construction qualifications are advantageous
