Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited seeks a Digital Construction Manager to lead BIM adoption across major Midlands and North projects. The role is office-based with weekly site visits, requiring strong coordination with design teams and suppliers to ensure high-quality digital delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Digital Construction Manager, BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator for a main contractor.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and ISO 19650.
• Good knowledge of design coordination and clash detection.
• Experience coordinating digital information across large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in ACC, Forma, Solibri and BIM Collab.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of BIM and Digital Construction processes across projects.
• Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Information Management Plans (IMPs).
• Coordinate design teams and supply chain partners for high-quality digital delivery.
• Oversee clash detection, model coordination and information management.

Job description

Digital Construction Manager required to join an established leading national contractor to support delivery of large-scale projects across the Midlands and the North. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business that is genuinely invested in digital construction, innovation, and modern methods of project delivery.

The role is predominately office based, with site visits likely taking place once a week. Distance and frequency will vary depending on project requirements.

Duties:

• Lead the implementation of BIM and Digital Construction processes across projects
• Develop and manage BIM Execution Plans - BEPs and Information Management Plans - IMPs
• Coordinate design teams and supply chain partners to ensure high-quality digital delivery
• Oversee clash detection, model coordination and information management
• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and client information requirements
• Support project teams with digital tools, workflows and best practices
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in digital construction across the business

Experience required:

• Experience as a Digital Construction Manager, BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator working for a main contractor
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and ISO 19650
• Good knowledge of design coordination, clash detection and Construction Operations Building Information Exchange - COBie is essential
• Experience managing and coordinating digital information across large-scale construction projects
• Proficient in ACC - Autodesk Construction Cloud, now Autodesk Forma, Solibri and BIM collab
• Any experience on DfE projects is desirable
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with design teams, consultants and subcontractors
• A proactive approach with a passion for digital construction, innovation and continuous improvement
