Job summary

Mphasis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Billing Operations Analyst to oversee end-to-end billing processes, invoicing, reconciliation, and stakeholder management. You will analyze billing data, drive improvements, ensure accuracy and compliance, and collaborate with Finance, Sales, Delivery and Customer Success teams.

Strong SQL/Unix skills, telecom billing knowledge, and experience with billing systems are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end billing and invoicing processes.
• Strong SQL/Unix/Linux skills for data validation.
• Understanding of telecom service operations and billing systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Experience with billing systems, revenue recognition concepts, and SOX controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end billing and invoicing activities for customers.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice generation, validation, and distribution.
• Perform billing reconciliation and revenue verification activities.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success teams.
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end closes and monitor KPIs.
• Prepare billing reports and dashboards for management.
• Ensure compliance with controls, audits, and company policies.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement; mentor junior analysts.
• Participate in system enhancement and billing transformation projects.
