Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking an exceptional Bid/Proposals Technical Author to lead the development of proposal narratives for our major transport and infrastructure portfolio. The role is based in London with hybrid options across Bath, Manchester or Leeds for exceptional candidates.

You will translate complex technical solutions into compelling client-focused submissions and contribute to international pursuits.

Qualifications

Proven experience in proposal authoring for infrastructure projects.
Ability to translate complex technical information into persuasive content.
Experience shaping high-scoring bid submissions for public/private sectors.

Responsibilities

Lead the authorship of technical responses for major infrastructure bids.
Create precise, compliant content aligned with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
Interpret evaluation frameworks and shape responses to address scoring criteria.
Turn complex methodologies into engaging narratives for external submissions.
Coordinate multidisciplinary responses and align with delivery strategies.
Review content for quality, consistency, and compliance.
Mentor colleagues and drive continuous improvement in technical writing.
