Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to join its Work Winning team in the UK. The role focuses on leading high‑value bids, coordinating technical, operational and commercial input to craft winning proposals.

The position requires senior stakeholder influence, strong leadership and a solid understanding of construction and civil engineering, with water sector experience being highly advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong Bid Management / Work Winning experience within a Tier 1 contractor.
• Experience leading complex, high-value construction or infrastructure bids.
• Strong understanding of construction and civil engineering.
• Water sector experience would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent strategic, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level - or willingness to achieve it.

Responsabilités

• Lead major and strategically important bids from opportunity through to submission.
• Develop and implement effective bid strategies.
• Take ownership of the overall bid programme, governance and submission.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams across technical, operational and commercial functions.
• Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develop compelling, compliant and commercially focused proposals.
• Challenge and influence solutions to maximise win potential.
• Manage multiple complex bids and competing deadlines.
• Support the wider Work Winning team and contribute to continuous improvement.
