Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to join its Work Winning team in the UK. You will take ownership of bids from start to finish, turning client requirements into high-quality, commercially focused submissions.

You will lead major opportunities across water, rail, highways, airports and other critical infrastructure, working with technical, operational and senior stakeholders to secure major UK projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in Bid Management / Work Winning within a Tier 1 contractor.
• Strong construction and civil engineering knowledge.
• Water sector experience advantageous.
• Experience managing complex, high-value bids.
• AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level – or willingness to work towards it.

I'm working with a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor that is looking to bring an experienced Bid Manager into its Work Winning team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the bidding process and wants to play a key role in securing major UK water and infrastructure projects.

You'll take ownership of bids from start to finish, working closely with technical, operational and senior stakeholders to turn client requirements into high-quality, compelling and commercially focused submissions.

The role

• Lead and manage major bids from opportunity through to submission

What they're looking for

• Previous Bid Management / Work Winning experience within a Tier 1 contractor
• Strong construction and civil engineering knowledge
• Water sector experience would be highly advantageous
• Experience managing complex, high-value bids
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident working with senior stakeholders
• Strong organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines
• AMPM accreditation at Foundation, Practitioner or Professional level - or a willingness to work towards it

You don't need to tick every single box. If you have strong construction/civil engineering experience and a background in bidding, technical or operational roles, it's worth having a conversation.
